Created for Micah Purnells art project Print Up Paste Up

I'd recently created graphical animal portraits, without considering issues such as their numbers in the wild. This was until someone in an office I was working at the time, declared that the Western Black Rhino was now officially extinct. Nobody who heard this news so much as blinked an eye. So this piece is a response to both that sad news, and how no one regarded this as major event.

The further you're away from the print, the clearer the image of the rhino is.
The closer you get the less obvious it is, until it is lost.

It was seen on Oldham Road, Manchester for a few of weeks.
